Matcha Green Tea & Strawberry Chocolate Mooncake

A chocolate mooncake with deep matcha and a zesty strawberry layer, enrobed in dark chocolate and finished with a green tea chocolate disc. Made with premium matcha, so the bitterness is real, and the strawberry has something to cut against it. The pick for tea drinkers. A chocolate mooncake replaces the baked pastry crust of a traditional mooncake with a chocolate shell, keeping the shape and the ritual of the Mid-Autumn Festival while changing what is inside. Hand-dipped and finished in our Sydney kitchen.
