Sitchu Lifestyle Magazine (September 2020) included Kakawa in its list of Best Chocolate Shops in Sydney. Sitchu makes particular mention of the expertise of the owner Jinsun Kim who studied under a Swiss-trained chocolatier and then moved back to Sydney in 2008 to open Kakawa: “a chocolate shop that doubles as a (real life) chocolate factory”! Sitchu encourages buyers to “expect the unexpected, like chocolate spiced with champagne or caramelised olive”
